Town of Pinawa

The LGD of Pinawa offers housing types to suit varied lifestyles, including apartments, town houses, seniors housing, and standard size lots.

The Town has zoning by-laws that govern the development of properties in their communities.  Administration of zoning changes, plans of subdivision and building permits are handled by the LGD of Pinawa and Council needs to approve any major changes.  Before you move forward with any type of development, please contact our Resident Administrator to ensure you have the proper permits and are in compliance with the LGD of Pinawa Land Use By-law. 

Building Permits issued prior to March 14, 2023 would have an opportunity for two years of FREE municipal property taxes for Residential development projects, which have an assessment value of $100,000.00 or more.  The development must be completed by December 31, 2023.  Information about this program can be found in By-Law 903-2023.
