The Town has zoning by-laws that govern the development of properties in their communities. Administration of zoning changes, plans of subdivision and building permits are handled by the LGD of Pinawa and Council needs to approve any major changes. Before you move forward with any type of development, please contact our Resident Administrator to ensure you have the proper permits and are in compliance with the LGD of Pinawa Land Use By-law.
Pinawa offers a valuable incentive opportunity for new home builders and residential property developers. This innovative program provides for two years of FREE municipal property taxes for residential development projects, which have an assessment value of $100,000.00 or more.
